    ragboy,

    So the pics above are with the Z3 bags in the Z1. On goofy side how much did you counter weight and where? We have a 2013 Z1....without VX...worth the add? Our dealer said he's had people complain about the wave not being as steep!?!?.....looks pretty darn good above!

        Just trading my 2010 RZ2 for a 2012 Z3. The plan was to swap over the wakemakers set up I had on the RZ2, but the dealer just called me and said it won't work.....not so good news, but the dealer I have is so good he said no problem he would prefer to offer the RZ2 with the surf set up I had (same as Ragboys RZ2) and to pay for a new set up for the Z3. With the short notice, my knowledge in this area is slim. I noticed mention of issues with Wakemakers set up. What issues? What are fill and empty times? I only ask because I was going to add stand alone reversable pumps to tthe Rz2 because of excessive fill and drain times. Are there extra ports to do so?

        On more off the cuff. I have the FAE for the RZ2 and love it, but new hull will fit the Convex VX so am planning on ordering and installing. Do you need, or can you even install the FAE on the convex VX.

        Forgive my ignorance, I usually research things a bit more, but my dealerr solicited me and made such an amazing deal he moved me along faster than research would allow.

          Sorry, didn't mean to ignore you.

          Here is the thing, I have now tested with the Z1 and now with an RZ4. Of course it would be so easy for me to just make one set of bags and say use them for all the boats, which is what wakemakers are doing. Those bags were originally made for us in our Z3. The Z3 bags in the Z1 are too big. Of course there are a few that are probably like "hell yeah, sign me up", but its too much weight IMHO and I don't feel comfortable selling for the Z1. They def fit perfect in the lockers and side, its just a matter of how long they are and how much weight.

          As far as the RZ4, and I am sure its the same for the RZ2, they don't fit at all and I wouldn't buy them if it was my boat. If this is how the wakemakers bags fit in the RZ4 and RZ2, I don't like it at all. They don't fit right in the lockers and they don't fit in the sides either, the RZ4/2 have narrower sides and it may even cause some damage over time. The cup holder don't just come out, they pop out with force, for one. Yet fits perfect in the Z3.

          So that said, I know many are chomping at the bit, but I can't sell anything I wouldn't put in my boat, its not about the money. I am going to work our measurements for the other boats asap and will post when I test.

          With the RZ2, if you have the PCM motor and the VX, I don't think you need the FAE at all, the VX does much of what the FAE does, and the PCMs are so clean. I am not making any negative comment on the Indmar engines, I just have no experience except for a few test drives in Texas. I will say this, they look really cool. ;-)

              No, we may get one more replacing a defective one. I am worried about stocking more this late, but would do if there were 5 buyers. The tough part, is that I need to do seperate bags for the Z3, Z1, etc. Its not a good fit with one size fits all.

                Hey Ragboy I ordered the wakemakers sacs for the z3 before yours were available.

                What is the big difference between the two ?

                  Do you plan on ordering any more before next season? I understand that this season is almost over.

                    @travism

                    I am not sure if those are the older or new ones they have, the older ones were too small, especially for the VX, fine without the VX. They didn't have the anchors and they were too thick and popped up the seat when filled.

                    @ironpeddler

                    I may get a couple more in, I will know by tuesday, but I am not sure.

                      ragboy,

                      whats the difference in your bags vs the 84 wakemaker bags? these http://www.wakemakers.com/fly-high-t...-w005-stb.html

                      I don't want to eat up all my storage space but still want the best wave I can get in the z3 with convex vx. That's why I Was looking at the 84 bags. You said something about the tie downs? Are these in the boat stock?

                        You don't want the 84s. I have a couple new sets for the Z3 and Z1 on the way in. The 84s don't fit right, and are too small.

                          ok so yours fit and lock in right? I guess I will just sacrifice the storage space. When do you think they will be in? Do I need any additional fittings?

                            Yes, they fit perfectly in the Z3, and making some 18 inches shorter to fit perfectly in the Z1. You still have a lot of storage space forward of the port bag and in that big observer area.

                              Robert,

                              When will the bags be in? These are the same bags the EWT boats are using right? Do they come with all the fittings? Let me know or shoot me an email I"d like a set.

                                I would also like a set for the Z3 if available.
