I am concerned this download may be incomplete. The security properties does say Tige-PC administrtor. File name: iLividSetup-r757-n-bi.exe
      1.24 mb
I would hate to lock up my system as much as I would love to take one for the team. I am sadly only 5 hrs to the closest Tige dealer.

And I was getting ready to download that file to the boat. Kind of glad I held off.

I here you Nick about being a few hours from the nearest Tige dealer. I'm sure you heard that Stateamind no longer sells Tiges, but I believe they still do warranty work to their boats.

No it's the MAC!!!! I did the same thing 20 times and finally when I went to friends PC unzipped the file and uploaded it, it worked perfectly fine, granted this was last summer with a file I had received I battled the blue screen for two nights before I gave up and went to the PC.

Edit: you should be able to just plug your USB in with the key turned off and then when you turn be key to the on position or accessory position it will automatically start the update no need to manually do it. I think I remember talking to sonodu and them saying that if it doesn't start automatically when doing it this way there is a problem in the file, also the unit won't I believe take a partial file either.

Can you verify that the file posted earlier is a complete file?

Funny but true, agree with your point.

Houston I have looked at every piece of data I can on my computer and there are minuscule differences that I can find from the software I have and the one that was posted. I updated my system last summer and at the time I had Viper: v01096.27. See if you can get your hands on a PC to upload the file onto the USB drive if that does not work shoot me a PM. I will keep looking into the file posted and the file I have to see if I can give you a defiant yes or no as to it being a complete file.

I posted the file, I can assure you it is the complete file. It is the exact same file that I used to update my 2012 Z3. I got it from the tige dealers website.

I think the file you uploaded is going to be the correct file however I'm not sure the system you used to "host" the file allows for it to be downloaded properly when I download your copy I get a somewhat different formatted file than the one I have downloaded via email I guess bmoorewiz, just to in a sense double check would you mind emailing me your file that way I can see if it the issue is with the serve hosting the file and not the file itself? They look identical when it comes down to the coding form what I can see and view but as mentioned previously when I downloaded the file last year I ran into problems when using a Mac to do it where the PC worked so simply could be that as well.

Alright. I've saved it onto a thumb drive from a PC but now I'm questioningd if there is a specific file format for the USB thumb drive that the Medallion wants to see.

The thumb drive I used when I saved it from my Mac was formatted as FAT.

When I connected it to the PC, it didn't ask to be reformatted but I went ahead and formatted it as FAT and saved the file on it.

Should the USB be FAT or NTFS?

Almost undoubtedly FAT. It's far more universal, and the Medallion firmware is unlikely to have NTFS functionality built it.

I believe I was set up as a FAT as well when I did it.
