I would hate to lock up my system as much as I would love to take one for the team. I am sadly only 5 hrs to the closest Tige dealer.Last edited by NHarp1; 04-25-2013, 01:36 AM.Nick

No it's the MAC!!!! I did the same thing 20 times and finally when I went to friends PC unzipped the file and uploaded it, it worked perfectly fine, granted this was last summer with a file I had received I battled the blue screen for two nights before I gave up and went to the PC.
Edit: you should be able to just plug your USB in with the key turned off and then when you turn be key to the on position or accessory position it will automatically start the update no need to manually do it. I think I remember talking to sonodu and them saying that if it doesn't start automatically when doing it this way there is a problem in the file, also the unit won't I believe take a partial file either.Last edited by rensink; 04-25-2013, 05:05 AM.

Alright. I've saved it onto a thumb drive from a PC but now I'm questioningd if there is a specific file format for the USB thumb drive that the Medallion wants to see.
The thumb drive I used when I saved it from my Mac was formatted as FAT.
When I connected it to the PC, it didn't ask to be reformatted but I went ahead and formatted it as FAT and saved the file on it.
Should the USB be FAT or NTFS?
