^new engine and new graphics from a boardshop owner? wonder how hard that boat has been run. I can speak from experience that a fully loaded 22ve(disco'ed in '12) was not 25k over his asking price new.. well, maybe msrp was.

The engine was installed professionally. 3 year warranty on the new engine. The hull is in great shape. It's been thoroughly detailed inside and out. 6 hours alone into a 4 step restoration on the exterior and another 4 in the interior. The graphics were installed by a 3M certified installer. Owner of the board shop did not use this boat for demos, rentals, or his own personal use. As stated the boat has some minor cosmetic dings you could expect from a used boat. I've seen the boat personally. It's in great shape. If you're the kind of guy not interested in Tigé touch, but want the Alpha Z this boat hits the mark. Anything questionable on this boat has been gone over.

Your buddy is in the ball park. He also has a Marine Power engine with no warranty, no ballast, no Alpha Z, no Tower speakers, a THOROUGH detail job is going to cost him between $800 - $1000, ballast system around $4k installed, tower speakers and amp to power them bet $1500-$1800, the Alpha Z is about $1800 more than the tube tower seen on the 08 also, it adds up fast! His is a nice looking boat that should bring around $40,000 as is.

Are you saying for this market the boat is over priced chpthril, or that you don'tbelieve it cost $20k to replace the engine? Whats a crate 343 PCM engine go for these days? I'm not quite sure as I haven't priced or installed one.

I also am quite confident there is a post going on in this forum about a guy who purchased a boat 4 states away because it was such a great deal. Sometimes a great deal isn't so great. You tend to get what you pay for. Besides that, if anyone is interested I suggest seeing the boat then making a legitimate and reasonable offer. I know he's open to 'em.

I think your the guy from Family marine, correct? So you should know the Tige market pretty well. Rumor has it Family marine is no longer a Tige dealer, or won't be pretty shortly. So I'm guessing your shop is the one who put the engine in? If not is their another PCM dealer up that way?

Family Marine did not put the motor in. I think I highlighted pretty clearly options that would bring the the price difference. We're not comparing apples to apples. This boat is for sale by a friend of mine. This boat is not a Family Marine boat. Family Marine is still a Tige dealer and as far as I know will continue to be a Tige dealer. That decision is above my pay grade. Also, list price and sale price are two different things. I also stated that pretty clearly he's open to reasonable legitimate offers.

Sorry about that, must have heard wrong. Dealer up that way told me you guys wouldn't be carrying Tige anymore as of July. They must have been misinformed.

If you guys didn't put the motor in I wonder who did. Those of us who live up there or have cabins up that way know there isn't much for dealers that far north. My cabin isn't far from Alex and it would be nice to know if there is another authorized PCM dealer in that area. As far as I know after you guys its then Marine max in Rogers and Heinen's in Osseo, in distance from Alex.

both are little over price because i know where an 09 is at 45 and he will go lower and the 08 i just dont have time to go get it lol but if your friend board man can work with me on price
