Why the 4.2 stuff? Why not 5.0? (Vbulletin)

5.0 is not a stable release, I have tried it and it is slow. Needs more updates before I use it here.

Blocking banned IP's would be a cool feature

I have banned IPs blocked in place but theres no 100% foolproof way of getting around it. You can use a proxy which I suspect of some banned people are doing here.

they just round robin thier ip's as well.... and there are so many pretty useless. our only hope is the guy gets bored and goes away. I am going to pretend like he does not exist... just beyond stupid if you ask me....
