Here is where I plan to install them.

Here is the material I plan on using with the lenco rams and stainless hinges. I am thinking white and 1/2 thick- 9"x18".

Here is the overall design I think will work. I think malibu's design will translate perfectly to my boat.

From pictures I have seen it looks like malibu started with a wakeplate and added a plastic piece on top, then on newer models it's just the plastic. Maybe a 1st generation vs a 2nd?

If it works I can see it making direct drives so much better!

I consider mine one of the best surfing D-drives around. I've been watching a lot of vids and I'd say my wake is at least as good as, if not better that the teakgate wave. If it works out as it looks like it should, it should be a fairly respectable little surf boat.

I can't imagine what its goin to do to your boat, duffy. Your wake is already world class.

Have you run it with full ballast yet?

I was hoping to go today even though the lake is flooded, but woke up to more rain. So hopefully test it next Saturday.
