Friend found this on the Bu website. Guy took it to the next level of custom. Wave looks very good and clean. Im just not crazy about the large slots he cut into it though.
That is awesome. It looks like the slots are just there to accommodate the bolts when it is in the retracted position.
I have been out quite a bit with mine and I am still really happy with it. The biggest issue that I have had so far is getting back in the boat and forgetting to put the plate back in before I drive off. I then have to stop the boat and crawl back on to the swim platform and retract the plate which is annoying. I might eventually do something with a Lenco like pictured above if I ever manage to find the budget/time.
actuator would be nice but not sure its worth the $ and time when its so easy to do it by hand, if you remember it. Ive done it a lot too. I really like going from surfing to boardind and not moving ballast around.
