    My first boat (story cont.)

Well my thread was kicked straight to the curb during the rebirth of the sight. So I am raising it from the dead. Sorry for all of you who had already read it. But I figured people would like to see the finished upholstery.

    RECAP
Bought a 2000 tige 21V fox racing edition this winter. I sold my hobby/truck of the past 9 years and decided to move to a more family friendly sport.

The boat that we ended up welcoming to our home was a sadly neglected 21V.

The list of to-dos seemed long but worth it to have V-Drive in my price range. I did a bath in hull cleaner, de-stickered, replaced broken cup holders and courtesy light covers, repacked trailer bearings and seals. got a new/used set of tires and wheels.
    image.jpg
The trailer came with two 15's and two 14's
    Sanded and refinished swim deck

Sold the old race prop and got the proper acme 537. The stereo will be fine. I-phone compatible deck, 4alpine's in boat, 2 Polk audios on tower, 12" sub by drivers feet.

Next was interior that was going to be the biggest ordeal but I knew that from the beginning. But found a shop that would do a great job for a fair price.

And that is where I am today. I am in the works of replacing the blower motor, getting the bilge pump to work, deciding if I want to replace steering cable. After a good polish I think I will get some new stickers kinda like this

But without the fox. Prob just have 21V in big white print.

Right on. Looks killer. It's comin' along nicely. It might be worth asking Chpthril about a pump. Bilge pumps are pretty common though and as Robert said, even Walmart has them. I replaced mine last season and speaking of blowers, I've got a new one in a box. I might as well switch it out while I'm in the dash. Thanks for reminding me.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Nice work and looks nice. The interior colors complement well. I liked your old graphics. Simple but I thought they were nice. Interested in what you come up with.

Well the latest is I installed a new blower and bilge from Walmart $50. And it goes in mon for a buff, polish, and wax. He will also put on my new decals. I got the proof from the vinyl shop tonight.

The sticker will be in the very rear of the boat like posted in prior post.

I am going to go one more year on the steering cable. The last couple things I'm going to do is: plasti-dip dash and trailer wheels, and replace impeller. I will post pics when I get it on the water

                            Thanks,
I will ask the font of the 21V. The tige' part we copied off a decal option of the new boats

New interior and decals look fantastic! The steering cable is not that hard of a job to do. The first time can be tough but there is lots of good advice here to help you with it. My 2009 sat on the dealers lot for over a year, it had 2.1 hours on it when I bought it but sitting is not great for cables so I replaced mine last year and what a difference, feels like a brand new boat. And the newer Teleflex Extreme cables are supposed to last longer too.
