Accu-Set Upgrade

Hey All!

We currently have accu-set in our 2006 24Ve and never use it because it is a major pain. The up and down speeds do not work and its more trouble than its worth.

So we would like to upgrade to something better, preferably with a digital screen. Has any one done this and what would you recommend replacing with?

IIRC 2006 some can and some can't be upgraded to PerfectPass without it being a major pain. Maybe others will chime in. I would call the guys at Perfect Pass and ask them, I hear they are really helpful. There was a group buy, don't know if it has ended. I would recommend the Stargazer Wake Edition.

Hi i have been told in the 2006 you can upgrade the accuset to the Tige speedset from the 2007 and its the same wiring harness just plug and play. have been told it much much better. i have the same issue as you. my speed sets fine but no up and down which makes it pointless

How does the speedset compare? We definitely want something more reliable than what we have now.

Ok, update...

I have contacted PerfectPass, Tige, Zero Off and every other company I could find and it doesn't look like I have any options. They said that since the 2006 engines were the first using the drive by wire setup they were made differently and are no longer compatible with new systems.

So we are stuck with our accu-set. Does anyone know of a solution to get the up and down speed buttons to work? I can set the cruise control but not adjust speed. Also if there is any sort of manual for it I would love to see it.
