2001 Tige 20i Glove Box Lid

Guys I need to replace the glove box lid on my 2001 Tige 20i... the current black one is junk and is cracked all over the place. I was think of trying to find some 1/2 to 3/4 inch white or black plastic type material and the cut in to shape add hinges latch and some weather stripping but I can't find what I am wanting...

just wondering if anyone else here has built a glove box lid?


I guess I could use wood too and shape it ...paint it and see how it would look


I just don't want it to look ghetto bc I do plan on selling the boat in the next year or two

what are the dimensions.. I have some black plastic that is 1/2 in thick that might work really good for it... just been sitting in my garage. was going to build a walk thru for my 2007 moomba... but sold it before i did the project?

boats in storage but I would bet its no bigger than 24"x30"

I have the same issue with my glove box cover and about to fix it as well. Please let me know what you end up doing.
