    Prop selection

    Andrew,
At the Dallas boat show last year, Brett Thurley recommended I purchase an Acme prop for my 1998 Tige PRE2100, however I don't remember which one he recommended. Which one would you recommend at this point?

If you call or email Acme the information on your boat such as boat year and make, what you mostly use the boat for, the weight of the boat if you wakeboard how much weight you use in the boat and so on they will recommend the prop that will work best for your needs. I did this and it made a bid difference in performance. If you need there email address let me know I have it at work and will post it.

          domslude,
          Where is the earlier discussion?

          CTRider,
I actually emailed Acme the same night I posted my question here. A guy from Acme has already responsed with an answer but I wanted a Tige response to see it they agreed.

If you do a lot of slow speed pulling (surfing, wakeboarding) with a weighted boat the 13x11.5 works great though you will loose some top speed. If you are using the boat for all around playing the 13x12.5 will do fine. Which ever one you get make sure it is for a 1 1/8" shaft.
