thats how my 2007 moomba LSV was setup... loved that stereo remote\setup.. never had a bit of trouble with it. looks clean. did you buy another one for the transom? think it used 2.4ghz wireless to talk back to the deck.

That good to hear. This is my first Alpine of any sort. Always a little nerve wracking with a new brand. Everything is working as advertised so, I'll keep my fingers crossed for the next few seasons.
I did not purchase another MC2. I am the Captain and you will not touch any of the systems on this vessel. Only I!
Truthfully, I do have a Jackass friend who is notorious for touching the stereo. Puttin a remote anywhere near that guy is asking for trouble. He's not as bad as he used to be but, he burned that bridge and now no one may cross. ;-) With the only one being on the dash, at least I can smack his fat fingers away before he fast forwards of my favorite track or cranks the volume while trying to dock or something stupid like that. See! A man can only take so much. I seriously thought about putting the remote on the right side of the cluster. That would have been a bit too far though. Just too damn illogical.
i hear you on the black depth guage.......that would look great with a white face.
Dah! Right?!
It's killing me. I even clearanced the bezel on it in order to get it to drop in further. It looks better but, its still black. I've been secretly shopping gauges.
Get you a piece of the white sticker vinyl for windows and a sharp knife. Cut it out to fit around the buttons and the screen. Would be an easy cheap fix that will last a long time
I never finished this up. I did eventually get the last of the actuators replaced. They had to ship the same one four times before they got it right but, they did get it right. I'm happy.
