Metacraft Tower??

Can someone please confirm that my tower (boat 2004 22v limited) is not a metacraft tower? I am getting a custom bimini made this spring and wanted to make sure I didn't need to replace the tower first since I have read the metacraft towers are junk.

Not all Metcraft towers are junk. They also have made solid towers such as the Malibu Illusion and the Tige Alpha Z. But the ones used on Tige around the '99-'01 timeframe had problems. Yours is not one of the problematic Metcraft towers.

Ya, not the Metcrap tower of death. Complaints are rare on your tower. Just go through it and tighten every nut and bolt you can find and give it a good once over for any cracks and it should be fine.

Nice looking boat. I have an 03 22v limited with the same tower. I agree tighten every bolt and keep up on it.

Yes that is a Metcraft...but as stated its not the one with all the problems. Check the the allen bolts every now and then and you will be fine. I have the same tower....Make sure you check the ones where it bolts to the boat. I had one come loose and break there it was kind of a PITA to fix so dont let it happen to you.
