good time to trade??

Looking to upgrade to an 09 24ve after the summer, is there a good time to trade or sell a boat?

Best time to sell is almost always the beginning of the season, usually starting at boat show time(now). Trade wise I'm not sure if there is a good time. I think it more depends on what you are trading and what you are buying. At the end of the season your trade might be stronger against a brand new left over boat. As most dealers would rather have a lesser priced used boat over the winter versus a non current holdover on the spring. Left over boats can be tough to sell unless your giving them away.

Buy a boat in the fall, sell a boat in the spring.
