    RZR possible pruchase

My wife and I attended the Los Angeles Boat show this past weekend and really liked the Tige RZR, so much so we put a deposit down on one. My question is how much do these things generally go for and what would be a reasonable amount to buy one for? I know this might be a bit of a loaded question, but I cant really find any MSRP or past sales references online.

FYI Im located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I was recently in your situation. My local dealer was looking to get $69.5k for a loaded RZR. I am located in Wisconsin, so the area prices might be different. However, I think the 69.5 was a bit much, but I could be wrong. This was the sale price before boat show season, so with boat show discounts I am assuming you should be able to get below that.

Again, this is just my recent experience. Hope this helps!

If price is an issue, look at the R20. Same hull as the RZR, but without all the bells and whistles. Still a very nice boat at a good price. I've got to admit though, I love the look of the Alpha Z, wish I had one.

that price doesen't seem too outlandish. I would like the alpha Z tower too I do not think it would be the extra 30Gs

yea we looked at the R20, but the RZR had so many more features and addons that we wanted. 69.5 is what I was thinking. Just really want to be as prepared as possible so we dont end up overpaying.

I just signed a deal on a 2013 RZR. I got the tower of power, 2 REV 10's, 343 motor, Bimini, transom radio remote, surf ballast and maybe 1 or 2 small options i cant think of right now. Went with the standard paint option to stay in budget and was out the door for 66K. Thats with TT&L, so I paid about 62K for the boat. I am in Louisiana. I thought the price was really good for how boat I was getting for the money, considering I was looking at an X-2, pretty much the same boat, with a price of 86K.

            Hope this helps!

you make a very valid point. in this day and age with only so many vendors making parts, engines, ext... the difference is in gadgets for the price. So in the end are you paying for the "name" .. not the quality? But brand name?

I think that you should for sure buy it no matter what the price. Then you can come pick me up everytime you go to the river or lake.

                    I also live in Rancho...

Wow, to rich for my blood. If prices here where what you guys are paying I wouldn't be able to afford one. I can say this, I will sell you my brand new RZR that i haven't even taken delivery of, well optioned, for less than that^^^!!

Wow ! Shouldn't you have asked this question before putting a deposit down ? Just saying. Guess it's just me but I'm anal about doing research before I buy anything of significance. It's hard to negotiate if you don't know the true value.

Well it's not really like cars. You will not find a published invoice. Plus its tough to find 2 boats exactly alike to compare. But I know the Tige MSRP's are quite high. Jreis is right the base MSRP is like 61K. But you will never find a base one, there's always something added.

Athous shoot me a PM if you want to know what I paid. Its so far off what people are posting I don't think I should post it in the open forum.
