    PVC loop mat floorig -deckadence-

Looking at a new floor and had my mind set on Deckadence when I ran across this.
    http://jimsmarineflooring.com/pvc_loop_mat_flooring
Anyone ever used or heard of Jim's PVC loop flooring?
Seems to be very similar and after speaking with Jim he confirmed they are very similar. Jim says Deckadence is more plush but the pvc loop softenes up with sun exposure. The price is almost half.

My guess is you get what you pay for. What would you expect Jim to say?
I do all my own stunt work. hey ya'll watch dis.

@Robert Jim sells both products and I don't believe he is the manufacture of the pvc loop so I would expect him to give his honest first hand opinion which I believe he did. Deckadence has a 1 year warranty and PVC loop has a 5 year " you get what you pay for".
@ Bryce I have samples of Deckadence and a sample of PVC loop is on its way.

Just curious if anyone has first hand experience with this product.

Adam, did he say whether or not logos or borders would be available? I'm working with a guy named Les at Decadence trying to see if they will do any kind of group buy. He is supposed to get back with me tomorrow. When your sample comes in be sure and let us know what you think.

I did not ask about logos or borders I don't plan on using either. I will post pictures and my observation when I get the sample. He did say the material comes in 4' rolls and if I needed it wider itis much cheaper if I seamed it together myself and the way its done is just with PVC cement and its cut to size with scissors ( Same with Deckadence).

Adamsjstt i have the deckadence in my boat and i love it.It's very comfortable on your feet.It doesn't get as hot as the carpet and moisture won't stay in your boat.Just looking at the PVC it looks harder to work with[cutting it to shape] and not as soft on your feet.I'm in sales so i use the line" A good value for the money" all the time.

Thanks for the opinion I will be comparing samples soon. Can you tell me what kind of a warranty you received with your Deckadence ? Maybe I can get a longer warranty from a different supplier?

It was a 1 year warranty. We had the flooring in most of last year with no issues. It was only 350.00 custom cut with the Tige LOGO in the middle.I couldn't imagine the PVC being a whole lot less expensive if it was custom cut.

I'm waiting on samples before I get a hard price but a quick price for a 4' x 8' in PVC loop is 250 and same size in Deckadence is 400. I have Deckadence samples just waiting for pvc loop samples to show up.

adam are you in Tampa? I had Jim quote me $600 for the Deckadence stuff for a 4 x 8. I asked for a sample of the PVC loop. Let me know how it goes. What color are you looking at. Maybe get a better deal getting a 4 x 16 piece and split it.
