    fuel consumption

I have a brand new 2005 Switch I with the 315 in it. This weekend will be my first weekend on the boat.........I have 2 questions.....

    1. how long can you usually run when your just wakeboarding behind it. lower RPM's

    2. If I was traveling with the boat somewhere near wide open how long can I usually run it for? higher RPM's

    thanks everyone!

I have the 315HP Merc in mine,

My partner and I go out a do a morning sesson without needing to gas up.

We are running a fair bit of ballast to make up for the lack of people, (people just use up valuable boarding time) so we are fully laden all day.
We have a lower pitch prop so are doing around 3000 RPM at wakeboading speeds.

    We use about
    12-13 gal/hour we mainly wakeboard.
which means that we can run for 2.5 hours wakeboarding, which normally takes about a day for 2 of us.

I have to admit that I have never run the boat for long at the higher end of the RPM so can't give you figures on that.

I have a 22V and we can go the entire day without refilling the tank.
