That tower might actually be a Rival tower. The arched bases are the first clue. The Tige logos are throwing the whole thing off though. It would have been possible to have them cut in at the time of manufacture if it was ordered for that boat. If it is "factory", its an extremely rare tower. Either way, its not the nightmare tower from earlier Tiges. Go through and tighten every bolt you can get to and it should be fine for years to come.

That boat has the ability to make incredible surf wakes. I've been behind Topaz Surfer's 22v and it is off the hook. He runs more ballast than most people ever would though. I'm sure some owners will post up their set ups for surfing and wakeboarding.

Congrats on the new ride and welcome to the site.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

$300 dollar repair to perfaect pass seems high. New it is only around $1100. Find out whats wrong with it and call perfect pass they are great. It may just need a new module or servo motor all things you can fix yourself. My wife an I installed perfect pass on a searay i/o years back and it is easy.

The dealer said they left the radio on the last time they took it out for a test drive and the battery was run all the way down. Seems logical and I may be over-analyzing but if the radio was actually off, is it common to have an issue in the system that is essentially draining the battery even when everything is off? And if that is the case, would turning the Perko switch to off alleviate the issue altogether.

I hate to over analyze I just don't want to make a poor purchase and end up having major repairs right out of the blocks.

We are scheduled to take it for a demo tomorrow. Other than testing all the buttons, is there something in particular I should pay attention to while underway?

Thanks again for all the help!! If it all works out I hope I can add to this incredible knowledge bank at some point.

X2, I would think 25K would be a good deal for a boat with all the options yours has.

"The Surf and wakeboard wakes are killer if you have it set up correctly."

                Kasey,

Do you mind telling the rest of us what you ran for weight in your 22V to create the Killer wake? We are having trouble adjusting our sacks and Taps correctly to create an even and consistent wake. Too much weight = wash at 65-70'. We are having a lot of trouble with the distribution from locker, center and front weight.
