    akdoc,

There is nothing wrong with the tower. This was the conversation I had with the wife. Trying to explain why a perfectly good tower must go.
I just don't like the look of it. I'm considering a tower from Samson Sports.

If you know of anyone who might be interested in the unused tower, contact me at v1rot8@whidbey.com

That was my Switch I that you saw with the red Samson tower at the dealership. My price on the boat (30603) included everything. The tower, racks, and mirror are 2813 acording to the paperwork and the tower speakers and second amp are 794.

        Jansen,

That was a sweet boat. I'd love to see some pics in the gallery. Where do you take your boat?

Sorry I do not have any pics yet. Soon! We were boarding on sat, on the south side of I-90. Out today looking for a new dry suit. I'll get some pics next time out.

SwitchV, have you decided on a new tower? I've had a Samson tower and would like to email you some feedback on it if you're interested.

                JANSEN,

Great pics of an awesome Switch I. Your color matched tower inspired me to go ahead with replacing my stock tower with a color matched tower from Samson. I'm looking forward to getting it finished and on the water. I think our two Switch boats with the Samson colored towers would make an awesome photo. I will drop you a message when we launch at Lake Washington.

                Hoots,

Thanks for the information you passed along. Much appreciated!

Just purchased the Switch V from Corona Tige. Sticker was 33,000 including Phat tower, stereo, bimini and boat cover. However NO spare tire for the trailer...JEEZ....we take it for a demo this Saturday. I think I'll bug em for a spare tire...that's the least they can do huh!! Reading all your posts, we can't wait to get it and try it out. Good luck to all of you. BTW, we are new to this site and will post pics of the new addition to the family when we pick it up!!!

                    wake

Can you switch v owners let me know how big the wake is or even take pics of it. It would be a big help to me in my decision to purchase. I have ridden a 22v and that was amazing but not a switch v yet. We wont be riding for a while, I just got done snowboarding on sunday.

we will get some pics for ya, but the first time boarding behind it wont be for a while because the motor needs a break in period before it can pull someone.

dont exceed 3500 rpm? vary the rpms?

the best way to break in your motor is by pulling something (wakeboarder, skier, tuber, etcer)

really? we have never owned a new boat so break in is new to me, and i heard driving the boat about 5 hrs b4 pulling someone was good, what do you recomend?

well don't listen to me it's my first new boat too.

my salesman said to just keep it below 3500 rpm for 20 hours and the best thing i could do to break it in properly was tow some wakeboarders.

however, i did cruise around the lake for atleast 5 hours before pullin' someone. not because i thought it'd be better for the engine but just because my dry suit hadn't arrived yet

when cruising remember to vary those rpms!

Depending on who you are pulling your speed will vary anyhow I would imagine. Pull someone on their first try wakeskating.....

Im not sure of the proper break in neither, we just pulled rookies and people like me that try to go for gusto without all the experience. Needless to say I didnt stay up long...

                                break in

Mercury recommends not exceeding 3/4 throttle for the first 10 hours and then not not exceeding 3/4 throttle for more than 5 minutes for second 10.
