    Convex VX

So the price seems to be around $2000 for the upgrade. So for that price who is going to be retro fitting their boats? Or for those buying new will you be taking the option.

I'm torn as I am already adding a second battery, surf ballast, 2 syn. 4s, a WS420, and 10" sub to my brand new 2013. Plus a custom boat lift with extended canopy. Not to mention a couple surf boards and I want a new wakeboard. Think mine will have to wait a year or the wife is going to revolt.

X2. Want one bad, but figure Ill wait for some feedback from others first. I was hoping it would be more in the $1000 - $1500 range. I'm assuming it comes with a new swim deck?

You and me both on the cost. I was originally told around $1000, but guess it went up. From what I read and have heard it does come with the new platform and you just pull yours off and put the new one on. Less than 5 minutes to install.

I'm getting one on my '13 Z3. It's going to be sweet! They weren't available yet when I ordered my boat, so I ordered it separately. I'll have the original swim deck to keep (for what, I don't know...). The swimdeck that comes with the VX is wider. Anyway, I'm super excited to get the boat and the VX.

Another option is to build your own (or find you a welding shop) They really are not that difficult to put together if you are handy with a welder and you can have them powder coated to match your boat for a minimal price. Plus you don't have to replace your swim deck.

i was just looking at a new RZ2 today at my dealer, it looks like the VX will block underwater leds, if equipped. does anyone know for sure?

Probably will. It will definitely interfere with an FAE as well. jmoore, you should put together a group sale and make a little side money!

Can do. And for a lot cheaper.

We have decided we are going to wait a while to see what else comes out. Rumor has it the RZ2 is getting a redesign soon so we are certainly waiting to see if that is true before having one of these put on our 12.

The production model of the VX does not block the underwater transom lights.

I've seen it, Surfed it and installed it.
They are very easy to install, they have 0 effect on factory transom lighting, handling, wakeboard wakes, skiing wakes and they are for real. It will not increase your fuel costs and there is nothing to break i.e. hydraulic pumps or electrical components.

For more detail info contact you local Tige dealer or contact the factory direct.

YES i have one coming...why...because I know what it does...and it is amazing...

Topaz, here is the link (http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...php?t=18799)to my orginal post on my device. I built it last spring (before Tige released their's )and now have about 60 hours on it. I primarily built my for the wash and no doubt it works. To my knowledge this is a bigger problem on the smaller boats (Z1, R20, RZR)than on the bigger ones.
