Pretty sure used boats do not get full warranty nor is the 360 transferable. Good deal none the less.

I would go with the RZ2 if they won't get off their soap box on that RZR. If its the RZ2 I'm thinking of its as good as new and no doubt the RZ2 is a bigger boat. I think most would say it surfs better. Not sure about the warranty though. You better double check that. For the same money i would go with the RZ2, so for less it's a no brainer. IMO

If its the RZ2 I'm thinking of the dealer is offering that service/warranty, not Tige warranty transferred. Maybe some of the dealers can chime in , but isn't part of the warranty transferable. PCM warranty I'm pretty sure.

There is some hull warranty that is tranferable and the engine can be for a fee IIRC. If my understanding is correct, the 360 is a shared deal, so both Tige and the dealer contribute. So with a used boat, I guess its not automatic, but suppose the dealer can still honer it.

Again, Im not 100%, so just playing devils advicate. Gate for you to jump on a deal and find out later that its different. Is the used 2012 at the non-local dealer? if so, ho are they going to honor the 360 and other warrenty items?

Thats how I remembered it to. I think you can transfer the hull and the engine and like anything there is a fee. Common sense says for the dealer to honor it you'd have to bring it to him, local or not.

Yes the RZ2 is at the non-local dealer. About 4 hours away, so if anything was major then I would have to trailer it there for warranty work, etc. However, If not I would most likely do regular maintenance/service at the local dealer. Seems like a stretch and a lot of work, but 66K seems like a fantastic deal for the boat.

Boardman, yes it is the boat you are thinking of.

I bet that dealer would drop ship you parts, you'd just have to install or cover labor!!

Well, I went to the boat show today and took a look at the new Z1. That boat is just beautiful. Really think we have our eyes set on the new Z1 over the RZR.

Now it's just deciding on the options, colors, etc. Brought home a few different sheets and it is just way too easy to fully load these boats! Before you know it, you're $10k over what you want to spend. Anyways, really enjoyed the boat show. Saw a lot of really nice boats and finally had a chance to see the Z1 in person. That convex Vx is very cool and I will definitely be equipping the boat with that option.

The dealer we are working with also has a couple leftover RZ2's that they are trying to sell as well. I would be able to get a 2012 demo with 10 hrs for right around the same price as the Z1. I know the RZ2 is more boat for the money, but the redesigned Z1 with the VX seems like it might be the better choice. Ah, to many options!

If they wanted 70K for a RZR how much do they want for the Z1?

Depending on the options, between 70-78K. Is this too much?

Personally I'm not sure on the Z1, I can check local pricing on frIday(be at my dealer) if you shoot me a PM with options. But if they were that high on the RZR why wouldn't they be on the Z1?
