Any pcm dealer can do the warranty work it is the tige 3 year no service charge work that comes with a new one that has to be done at a tige/pcm authorizzed location.

Boardman the reason Binliner Aka Bayliner made it right for you is becasue they are huge and owned by Brunswick Marine (yeah brunswick the bowling people) which also owns notables such as SeaRay, Cabo yachts, Hatteras, Boston Whaler and the list goes on. If you stay on them they will bend over backwards for you. We have owned 4 SeaRays all awesome ranging form 20ft to 38ft cruisers. It was a hard jump from such a good company, premium product, dealer network (marinemax) and service to the inboard world. But I am getting older and sorer and you cant surf behind an i/o. We couldnt be happier with our Tige but we will always be SeaRay fans.

This 2102 rzr (it has the 303 no upgraded stereo and stock ballast) has been at this dealer for over a year last I heard they were saying make an offer. Last price they qouted me was 53,000 back in october.

No that isnt what I said, what I said is if you oringinally were in our territory shopping for a boat and you buy a new one out of our territory we wont do warranty work, now let me explain, if you find a boat from another dealer that is what your looking for and in the price range you want , you simply let us know and we can have the boat invoiced and delivered to our dealership and that way we get the credit for the sale and all benefits that go towards our boat count, if a buyer bypasses those procedures we dont have to do the warranty work, anybody moving into the area is definettly covered.
I hope this clears things up.

Thanks, I have been in contact with my local dealer. Ran into some dealer territory rules and am trying to work with the local dealer now. Can anyone explain this whole process better? If I don't come to an agreement on price with my local dealer, is there a way I can purchase from an out of state dealer that is selling at a better price? As of now, I am informed that I must work with my local dealer since they have the rights to the territory, but they are higher priced than some other boats I have found in other states that are nearby.

Who told you that? So you have to pay a higher price due to where you live or a dealer who wants to rip you off selling at MSRP. Sounds like crap to me. I would say if they won't match the deal then you should be able to go elsewhere.

You totally can do that. But don't expect that when your boat breaks on July 1, that you will see your boat for the 4th of July. The dealer MIGHT offer to service the boat, but it will be at his convenience.
              Be excellent to one another.

Well sounds like his local dealer is quoting him 8K higher than I know the boat can be bought from another dealer. For 8K I'd take that change.

I dont understand why your dealer wont work with the other dealer to secure the deal?

Is the other boat apples to apples in options and color options , this could be some of the difference.

The way I understand it, the dealer territory restrictions apply to new inventory and not leftover inventory, such as last years model boat that didn't sell. I believe the dealer is not allowed to sell a new boat to someone out of territory but they can sell a leftover to whoever they want. Just wanted to make sure the two boats in question are current model year new boats and we are not comparing a leftover to a current model new boat.

Both boats are 2013 RZR's. As for the options, I don't know exactly what they both have, but according to the dealers, both are loaded. I will know for sure later today. I am going to take a look today and maybe even look at a leftover RZ2.

You need to get a spec sheet on each boat and see the options and compare the two, loaded to one dealer isn't neccisarly loaded to another. The servicing issue is just that and I've always had this mentality an to some it maybe wrong but if I buy a boat somewhere other then local then there needs to be a good reason and the dealer I bought it from will be doing the service on it. Family Marine said it best is the price difference enough to justify 1. Travel time and expenses and 2. Making the local dealer bitter towards you so when you call on the July 3rd or 4th and you have an issue do you think they're going to either pull a new part off a new boat or get your boat in the shop right away. The territory issue that you could be running into is the fact if the out if state dealer sells you a boat they might depending how the dealer contracts wrote they may have to pay your local dealer a percentage of the deal they make.

Yeah, I am working with the local dealer now, so we'll see what happens. Nothing set in stone, but I will go wherever I need to to make the better deal (travel costs, etc. included). When I am spending upwards of 60K on a boat, I want to get the best value.

With that said, I took a look at an RZ2 and RZR today. Love them both, but the RZ2 just felt so much bigger. I can get in a 2013 RZR pretty loaded for $69,900...or in a 2012 RZ2 with 70 hours, mint condition, fully loaded (Pro ballasts, 343, Rev10's, etc.), for $66k.

What would you guys do? I am using the boat mainly for surfing. The extra space isn't something that I NEED but for the money it almost seems like a better deal to get the RZ2. The RZ2 also comes with 2 years free service and warranty.

with 70 demo hrs, im not sure it does. I would confirm that with Tige, not the dealer.
