Thanks guys,
I would like to clarify because I don't want you to think that you deserve or should get lesser quality of service. You should however take into consideration that you are probably going to rub your local dealer the wrong way a little bit by bringing a boat you bought somewhere else in for service. Understand, they do have customers that have purchased boats from them, that will be in for service that will take precedence over your boat. What would you think if you had purchased your boat from that dealer, and some guy that hadn't got his boat serviced before you and made you wait over the weekend?
That being said, I am a consumer too, I know the value of a dollar and no I would not pay 5K over what someone else has the same product listed for, all things being equal. But, how much more would you be willing to pay to stay local, and how much are they willing to take in order to keep you local. That's the $5000 question.
