Show off I love the blue of your boat and I like my color blue on the outside, just not a big fan of dark blue vinyl I guess. The ol lady liked the idea a lot. We talked and I don't think I will pleat the seat backs under the glove box. Everything else will b a go as of now I'm really hoping he can get rid of the line and do something cool with the engine cover. Keep the opinions coming tho. I thought long and hard about doing grey but pleated white with silver stitching should look killer on the rear lockers instead of a darker grey I think but who knows....

I could do without the dark too, because I know it's going to get hot. Luckily there is only a little.

I just posted that for you because I knew you liked it from WW!!!!

I kept trying to find a grey that popped out and I was like thats the one. That never happened so it kind of clicked to go this route so hopefully itll look as great as I think it will

I know it can be expensive, he said he got quotes from $1800 to $5000

He then said he went with the $1800.

I went to these two older guys who have their own shop downtown. They said they'd love to have my business and will shoot me a hell of a quote and do a great job. He let me take the vinyl book home for a few weeks and decide. He just kind of chuckled when I mentioned the other guys down the street with the huge shop that cant get it done before the end of March. Not that they couldnt do a good job, just as the business they run. I showed him pictures of other tiges and said I want it to look just like this, stitching hold up for years to come, pleated lines to look great, etc etc. He said he could do a great job, from pleating to how the interior he uses and stitching will be alot better then from the factory because he doesnt like for his work to come back. I thought it was worth a try when the guys down the street want 5k I bet once he gets knuckle deep into the project, it will be around 2300 to get it back

Man even for $2300 thats a steal. I buy and sell boats as a hobby. Try to buy cheap that need work I can do or get done reasonably. Boats that need vinyl I don't touch. For what shops charge I can't make it pay. Engine work is cheaper than upholstery most of the time!!

Good job shopping and finding a great deal. Can't wait to see it when its done. That big shop that told you late March probably would have turned into May. I took my boat to a place like that years ago to get snap on covers done. Guy told me 3 weeks. Showed up over 3 weeks later and the boat hadn't moved from where I left it. When i asked what happen the guy just said I haven't got around to it yet. No explanation, no sorry..nothing. So I said never mind and hooked up and left. Guy never said a word, no I'll get it in next. Nothing just went back to his lunch.

Yea, this old man said probably 2 weeks after he got material to get it down! Even if its 4 weeks and 500 more I'll be very happy if it looks great
