    New upholstery color opinions needed

Hey guys, I need some advice from some Tigeowners on what colors I should redo my upholstery in. I am going to have the guy stitch plaid on it, which he called pleating, on the top of the engine cover and on top of the rear ski locker, much like Copper had his upholstery done. Im wanting to get rid of the dark blue, and the awful greenish color. Any color combos or opinions on what colors to put where would be greatly appreciated

I would love to hear what others say as well. I'm in the same spot, and am having a hard time choosing myself. I'm thinkin maybe this:
      Turn the
      light grey into dark grey
      White into light grey
      Blue into bright orange
      Dark grey into black

Or too keep it more low key replace the blue and dark grey with black and white

      Keep the ideas coming!

have you considered using carbon fiber or that look on some of the accents to break up texture along with color variations? Seems to be what the new boats are coming out with. only 2-3 colors but different types of material or patterns to break it up like you mention on the engine cover and back. but I agree.. lose the green!

I'm looking really hard at doing something with this vinyl. Love the lines and color and would go good with the pleated vinyl in a different color silver or light grey

I am all about black grey and the white carbon. when you say ideas.. you mean complete redesign or just swap existing panel for panels and colors? because if so. I would be swapping face panels on the seat faces(front verticals) to black with white carbon flat surfaces. with maybe some black or grey accents. or Blue if you want to tie into the gel. but then I have to ask.. are you going for classy look or more edgy?

How hot does the black get in the sun? Im meaning complete redesign because Im not to big of fan of the lines on the engine hatch, or the side panels. Im thinking one solid color on the rear ski locker hatches tho so it can all be pleated, kind of like coppers sun pad.

somewhere on here we did similar pleats on a 97 I was working on. maybe look for posts by me. to find it. but to answer that the face fronts are not hot and have never had anyone complain either. changed them to black on that boat as well to be like my 2011. but I think its just sick.. but I am right there with you.. if you look at my profile I just added my 20v that i have been working on the past month.. but will have to do a complete new interior as it was left out to rot away.. hahaah not sure what I am doing as of yet.. might just make some nice plush white terry cloth cover to get me through this next season. and save up some cash for a really nice make over.

by the face fronts, are you meaning the place where your back would be when sitting would be black, and where you butt is would be like the vinyl in my pic. The vinyl I have picked out in the picture above is kind of a white to light silver carbon fiber isnt it?
