Great job on the custom install and making it your own. Definitely looks like a bu which is a no brainer, but it still looks great. I like

Do Tige and Centurion not have protected territories for their dealers? Because there are both a Tige and Centurion Dealer in the metro and it would be their territory I would think.

Thanks Bryce. I've said it before, I love the Alpha Z. It's a great tower in form and function. We just weren't going to be able to accomplish the things we wanted to by ordering that tower on the boat. I feel like our service department stands out and can do some pretty cool things in regards to boat audio, ballast, accessories and customization, Tom (the owner)got behind and involved in it, which allowed us the opportunity to display some of the those things by taking on this project.

boardman74, I'd love to answer that question for you if I could. As service, parts and accessories manager I don't keep up on the nuances and language written in the contracts. That's above my pay grade.

It may be a small point, but could you have mounted the speakers on the rear tube? I do think it would make some difference for the driver if the speakers were 12" behind his head instead of right above.

            Great looking boat.

I agree with the comments on how the new Samson looks an awful lot like the Malibu G3 tower. I am sure that you will be happy with the Samson. I am stoked to see somebody putting something else on for a tower. Can you comment on how much the Alpha Z tower option is? I am sure someone who has ordered a new boat has a spec sheet handy...

              Thanks talltigeguy,

I'll tell you what, I said right after we got the speakers up if there was one thing I would do differently it would be to mount them on the back tube, that 410 wouldn't stick out as far in the front. Then when we were done we looked at it and went back and forth on pro's and cons. I stick with what I said at first, but I guess really it's about a horse a piece.

I can't comment on the cost of the Alpha Z at this time, I'm at home, (still talking about work) but tomorrow I will try and address some things that I've been asked if I can.

We've installed Samson towers previously and we use their racks on all of our Tigés in lieu of the Tigé racks. Absolutely thrilled with their products. We've never had any sort of problem with them at all.

Does that tower have dual bimini tops? If so that would cover more of the boat, but putting up 2 would be a pain. I like it!

It,s one bimini that zips up in the center. I would say it's slightly larger than the Tige bimini. I should have put it up for photos. I'll see if I can get around to it today.

Glad you like it, thanks for the compliment!

Why did you go with the HT amps instead of the Syn's? I would think one would want the higher end amp with this setup.

Because, I had a budget and I needed to stay within that budget. I consulted Wet Sounds and this was the optimal configuration. There is plenty of power here for this system. One thing I would do different is an HT-6 in boat in order to have a higher wattage for the coax speakers in the cockpit. If I had an unlimited budget I would have used syndicate amps and an xs-12 enclosed and ported under the helm.
