Echo Bay Marina on Lake Mead is closing

Looks like we'll need to come up with a different plan for the Lake Mead TO reunion this year.

The Marina is closing but the launch ramp and dock will still be available for use, we would just need to camp or rent a houseboat(2) to operate out of! I think Temple Bar could be a good opportunity, especially if they keep the "floatels" and relocate them there!

GRRRR....we'll have to do some investigation. if the gas station is not operable, that might be something to sway anyone planning a multiday trip. I think it sounds like the land station will still be open, so I guess it wouldn't be too much trouble to put it on the trailer and fill up at the top of the ramp.

And it might be nice to have the no wake zone 1/4 mile closer.
