    ballast pump help

    I was looking at this set up online and wondered if anyone can tell me about it like how fast will it fill and drain I will have an 1100lbs in each side on the boat.

    I would have to search but IIRC Chpthril did a comparison on some of the pumps, don't know if that was one of them.

        Fire Medic,

        The Johnson reversible pump flows at about 12 GPM. A 1000 Lb sac hold about 120 gallons. So about 10 minutes give or take.

          I would call Chpthril first. He can put together a package for your boat. At the end of the day, you'll get everything you need and nothing you don't. I played with the idea of ordering that same set up but, I ended up going through Chpthril and it ended up being exactly what I needed. Whenever I need any ballast supplies, I go straight to Mike because I already know that the prices are right, the service is right and its going to be easy. What more do you want?

            I agree. Chpthril is the best source for ballast pumps, fittings, fat sacs and advice. He also has great deals on stereo equipment.

                chp hooked me up with everything to run dual fill/drain on my boat. quick service and pricing was onpar..

                  Same lines as the others...been workin with chp on a system for our VE and he's been great to work with. Answered all my questions and we're in the final step of getting it done. I wouldn't look anywhere else.
