    R20 cover

When I purchased my boat it came with a cover I am assuming it is something from west marine etc... It has support rods in the middle and velcroes around the tower. Is it normal for these covers to not be water proof? Where I park my boat it somehow gets pinestraw in it with the cover on. I am not sure what my options are on keeping the interior of my boat nice. It sucks to spend countless hours detaling my boat and two days later it is trashed and never have been moved. Any help would be great!

i would guess it either 1. gets in thru the tower holes 2. falls in when you uncover the boat this is what happens to me

it will be throughout the boat and the entire boat will be wet after a rain along with puddled water where is leaks around the tower I am just thinking about getting another cover. Is there a affordable place to get a better cover

I've got a 2012 R20. I spray coated my cover and bimini with 3M water proofing twice last season and it works really well. I get minimal moisture in around the tower velcro area and thats about it. I leave desiccant bags in the boat when it is sitting and that keeps it dry.

sorry forgot to mention that my cover came from Tige with the boat.

DRJones, My cover came with my boat it just doesn't say TIGE on it like some of the other covers that I have seen. I will have to try the water proofer I have thought of getting another tarp and putting under the cover. What is desiccant bags, if that is not a stupid question.

it sounds like your dealer ordered a cheaper replacement then to keep cost down
