Poseidon is no longer in business. Would love to get this product anyone know any other places. I contacted a local dealer and this was his response

I wanted to get back to you with an idea of pricing for the DMF flooring. You must keep in mind that DMF is not normal carpet!

Based on your dimentions, we would quote you a piece of material that is 8 feet wide by 5 feet long and you would trim it simply with scissors to fit the boat. The cost would be about $600.00 including tax plus shipping.

The material is easy to work with and wonderful to have in a boat. If you would like to actually see the material and step on it, I can meet you somewhere to show it to you.

$600 is insane I was thinking $250 to $300. You guys have any other sources. I would think if the pricing was more inline they would sell tons of this stuff. Keep in mind this was not cut or anything custom.

So are you just getting a piece and cutting it yourself or is it custom cut with a logo? If custom, I could see the price, but $600 for a piece you have to cut yourself is crazy. Anyone know if it can still be direct ordered from Tige, or are they not using it anymore?

They did all the cutting and Tige logo insert over the hatch. No way would I pay tha kind of coin for a square piece of carpet.

I am curious to know why this stuff costs so much. I have been in a boat with it, and it is definitely desirable. But it really doesn't feel or look like anything different than a nylon weave. There must be more to it, or I think Poseidon could have made a killing if it was half the cost.

Does anyone understand why it is so expensive?

The only thing I was told is that it was ateflon type of material, but I never confirmed that.

Maybe the total volume of flooring they were selling.Unless they have a lot of manufacturers on board cost would have to be higher to cover expenses.

I think the better way to go would be to trade in your XStar for a new R20/RZR and I'll even throw in the Poseidon for free!

I would think the new improved Z1 would be better come on up sell me!!! Things are good been meaning to stop by. Need some gel coat work done. Come on get me a deal on some of that carpet only way its worth $600 for my little boat is if they build it with gold fibers!!!
