When Surfing Perfect Pass Up and Down
I was surfing behind my 2005 24V yesterday and it seemed like it could not keep a consistent wave. I could hear the motor revving and and down, so I told my buddy to kill it. I opened the engine hatch to see that the entire bilge is full of water and water was getting thrown around everywhere from the belts. I looked and noticed the hose leaving my Walter Vdrive hose clamp broke causing my leak. I kicked the bilge pump on and started emptying custom ballast bags and headed to the boat ramp. My question is since that much water entered the boat causing perfect pass to go up and down, do I need to take any preventative maintenance on anything to keep me from having any problems in the future?
