Called Lee @ Tige and he said I would have to replace ignition/starter module. Anyone know what that costs? I searched and saw that someone mentioned $30, but that almost seems too cheap. Seems like it would be an easy enough swap. Anyone do this on an 07+ Tige? Thanks all!

Sierra #3980 ($30.00) is a black 4 position with rubber boot over key hole or #3920 ($26.00) if you are no longer utilizing the ACC position for the stereo.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I can order either one for you if needed. Sierra is carried by most any marine supplier, so check at your local store and see. You will probably find it cheaper. West Marine shows to carry the 3920 for >$18.00Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

One of the first things I did when I bought my boat was to replace the ignition, the key was broke off in it. I went through the dealer and if I recall was $24 to $30. I went that route so I knew it was a direct replacement and have Tige keys. I can try to look to see if I have a part number if you would like. Or I can try to call WWS and see if they keep a record of the parts I have bought.

I can't recall FacePlant did you buy used or new? There should've been a silver tag with a number on it that you file away in case you lose your keys. If you give that number they are supposed to give you the keys you need.
I am pretty sure that I have one of the original keys that does not fit my new ignition I would be willing to send to you to see if it works for you. PM me if your interested.

kind of scary how easy it is...

I left the keys at home once and hot-wired the boat with five inches of scrap 18 guage wire. Its scary how easy these things are to hot-wire
Now I have a hot-wire tool made out of three alligator clips wired into a wire nut that I keep in the boat in case I leave the keys at home. I have used it twice since.

Skippa, I bought new. Not sure where that tag is, but I will look for it in my original purchase kit. My boat sits on a lift next to my buddy's 2006 24Ve...maybe I will give his key a try. Good to know that I can pretty much start this thing with a paperclip in a pinch. Thanks for all the responses!
