For what it's worth and this is coming from a Ford man. The MP340hp in my new 22ve is extremelly impressive in throttle response and pure smoothness. With six adults a couple (large ones) we were all amazed at how quick we could go from 5 to 35mph without full throttle. I have had my share of stroked big blocks and the power you can feel in the seat is awesome. And 40 years building is pretty darn good. But the most impressive thing to me was the sound! It has a rumble that would make any gearhead smile. Good luck with your decision. Sweet Boats aren't they!
