    It looks big and bulbous in the pics from those angles, but when you see it in person, it doesn't. Everyone I have taken out that saw in pics before, and then see it on the trailer say the same thing. I think it looks great, but honestly, the way it works makes such a sexy wave that that sways me.

      I am sorry but all this talk about it is "ugly" who cares what it looks like! I am in the form follows function side of this debate.

      "Form follows function is a principle associated with modern architecture and industrial design in the 20th century. The principle is that the shape of a building or object should be primarily based upon its intended function or purpose."

      The VX will be in the water when you are using the boat. The last time I was sitting in our RZ2 I could not see the bottom or the top of the swim platform. I think the only time I look at the swim platform is when it is on the lift or the trailer. When I am surfing I am not looking at the swim platform because I have other things to worry about like trying to get air, land 3's and showing everyone in the boat the gun show.
      If the VX looked like a giant hairy wart hanging off the back of the boat but it made a super duper surf wave I would get it. Function before form. I feel sorry for all the fish and other marine life that will have to put up with looking at the "ugly" VX on lakes through-out the world.
      If it does what it is supposed to do, does it well, it can be as "ugly" as needed to get the job done. Just my

        I agree, if it makes my surf wake better, I'm all for it. Hopefully it will be available for my '11 R20, it would be a shame if tige' only made it available on the new models.

          I believe the R20 is one of the boats that would improve from this device so I don't belive you will be left out.

          I dont believe right now that the Ve models will have much benefit from the VXT but if the running surface of the RZ and Ve is truly the same as I have heard for years the RZ VXT should work on the Ve.

            I hope this VX thing is perfected by spring time????? Anybody have a clue what Tige is doing with future plans on their VX design????? Thinking about selling our MC and getting into a surf boat.

Makes me think, and this is NOT official, that if you made one of these for the 2012 RZ2, you could buy it and just drill the holes in the 2009 (or whatever) RZ2 swim deck. Assuming the bracket mounts are in the same place or same width apart.
              oh heck yeah!!!

              Definitely putting my mud flap plans on hold to see how this plays out.

                @mastercraft41

                I believe the plan is that it is ready for the boat shows coming up. I only use vagueness, because I am not responsible for it, and things can change, but I believe that is the plan.

                We plan to use a production one at our event in early June, as an example.
