I've done it both ways with the ethanol fuel. I feel the benefits of low or no fuel that has been stabilized far outweigh keeping the tank full on newer boats with ethanol fuel. I try to keep stabilized fuel that has been run through the motor at less than 1/8 of a tank. Then when you fill up with fresh fuel the next year your much less likely to have fuel related issues.
