Ordering new boat - color questions

Anybody have the mushroom interior? Trying to figure out how dark the it is and how much hotter than the grey it will be.

Also, anybody have any pictures of the pewter and champagne colors. Have not been able to see them in anything other than the brochure.

    Thanks

My interior is white and gray and on a hot day you can't even stand on the gray.

I went w/ the Mushroom interior, Brushed aluminum inserts, and the black piping. I tossed and turned about going w/ the neutral dash or the black dash... I liked the look of the black, but thought it might clash to much. In the end I went w/ the black dash. I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER. It looks classy. Now I have very simple gelcoat choices. But The mushroom interior is one of my favorites.

              Tanner,

How hot does it get? I like the look of the mushroom but concerned it will get too hot.

Maybe they both get hot and we should pick the color we like and keep plenty of towels to sit on.

The older Tige tan interior is pretty light and doesn't look very hot. The mushroom option looks very hot.

Well in all honesty I haven't noticed it getting to bad at all. BUT I will state that although I ordered in July, my boat didn't come in till Sept. of last year. So I didn't exactly hit the hottest time of the year. During Labor Day weekend I was anchored up in a cove from 11am till 8pm on one of the days and I didn't notice it getting extraordinarily hot (it got up 101 that day) . But I was also a bit intoxicated by the time the mercury started really climbing.

If I were you, I would order which color appeals to you best. If it's to hot, grab a bit of water (not like there's not plenty around u ) splash it on the seat to cool it down and then just wipe it off. I think if you choose a color your not happy with then it will always bug you.

I know when trying to choose what color of dash to go w/, I lost a couple of nights of sleep. Finally I just said screw trying to color coordinate, I'm going w/ what looks best to me. Best decision I ever made! Sorry I can't help much more. This is not something I've ever really concerned myself w/ as I'm one who just deals w/ it or does the water technique I stated earlier. But then again I don't live in AZ or any state like that. The highest we ever really get is 105 and that's rare.

I should add, that I know for sure the brushed aluminum accents do not get hot at all. I seem to remember the mushroom being just a bit warmer, but not anything really uncomfortable. DEFINATELY not anything like my dash, as it will literally burn you. Not sure how much that tells you. I wish I could tell you to wait about 2-3 weeks and I'd help you out more as I'll have it out around then... but I'm sure your trying to get this thing ordered in ASAP.

Talk w/ your dealer and have them talk to their rep and see when the very last decision on your interior needs to be chosen. I know my dealer had told me some things couldn't be changed and I thought better so I kind of went around him (unadvisably) and contacted Tige directly. I got what I wanted w/ no problem. But he hadn't contacted his rep so he didn't know it could be changed, he just said he couldn't.

Still need help with the Champagne

I have been able to see the rest of the colors except Champagne. Has anybody used it or seen it. Trying to figure out if it is just an off-white/lite cream. On the build-it site it looks darker than an off white but some of the older boats I have seen have a light cream that make a nice mix with black.

Or maybe it is horrible and that is why nobody has seen it.

                      Escondido,

When my boat came in last weekend I was able to see a 20v with with a black and champagne color scheme and champagne interior. In my opinion it looked great! The champagne does look like more of a cream color than just an off white. If I had just walked in to buy a boat and didn't have the new one I ordered (which , of course, looks better) sitting there I would have seriosly checked out that 20v.
