    I gotchya, shallow-mount.

The Wet Sounds XS-10FA has a mounting depth of only 4.72" and the thickness of the bulkhead wall would be subtracted from that. Thats all that would protrude into the helm storage locker. Off the top of my head, I do not think of any IB (infinite-baffle/free-air) shallow mount subs. They typically require an enclosure.

A R20 owner on here, Patryk, did a JL 13W3 in a sealed enclosure under the captain's helm without any cutting. I found the thread but the pics didn't load. PM him and he will probably send a pic or post it here.

        LEDs including speaker rings.

Maybe upgrade to sinister series amps.

Add a pair of WS 808s if they will fit.

Bruizza, where do you plan to put the 808's??

I just put two in my bow but had to cut them to fit.

Need to plumb the bow sack in this late winter early spring. Want the comp wave from the RZ2.

Bought a snowmobile so will spending time on that this winter.

              Thanks for the correction

I am not sure how that compares to say a kicker shallow mount sub but it sounds like 4.72" is pretty shallow they seem to be reasonablly priced also. I just can not afford to loose a bunch of my storage i hate for my boat to seem cluttered!

Where is everyone mounting there Amps? Do the boats have a pre glassed place on the interior of the boat? I do not want screws sticking out of the side of the hull! I think that I have had all of the fiberglass repair I can handle for the year!

I doubt mine has any extra glass in it! I have had to get cracked fiberglass repaired on mine from weak places in glass.

The Kicker CVT is still 4.25" and requires at least a .8 cft3 sealed enclosure with a minimum of 2" air gap between the magnet and back wall of the box.

Not giving up storage means giving up some leg room, by placing the sub enclosure totally on the drivers side of the bulkhead wall, rather then having the enclosure behind the wall.

The factory location is on the outside wall of the port mid-ship locker. I think the added thickness is glassed in to the wall, behind the carpet, as all the boats are built, regardless of what stereo option is chosen on the build sheet. Fell around the carpet, you should be able to feel the edges. If its not large enough for ones amps, then it makes a great place to secure a custom rack to.

I think tower lights, underwater LED's and a new mud flap made out of horse stall mats are the first mods on my list. I am also going to have my upholstery lady cut my built in cooler top in half, that way only one person has to move to get refreshments. And maybe have my bow filler cushion cut a little so I can use those two cup holders that are hidden by it.

That's a great mod. I had that done last year. In my boat, with the stock cushion, there weren't any cupholders that were accessible.

I am hoping to fit them in the main cabin area. The boat is all shrink wrapped for the winter so this will be a spring project instead of a winter project. I won't know if they will fit until then.

All I can say is the sound and bass output is double the 6" in-boat speakers. The 808's are absolutely GREAT!
