Wiring LED's to Tigé touch

Hi I'm looking to add some custom LED's to my RZR.

Just want to know if it's possible to wiring these to e controlled by he Tigé touch so I can control them separately to the cabin lights that one standard.

You can. There are a couple extra outputs on the Tige Touch. I ended up using this wireless remote relay to turn on the LED's on my Rev10's. It's pretty cool being able to control them from 75'+ and the nicest part is I don't have to leave the key on to have the lights on.

I don't have any pics of the install, only the LED rings and clear grills on the Rev10's. Originally, I hooked the lights up to the Courtesy lights output of the big Medallion fuse distro box under the dash. I left it like that for a couple weeks but I really did not like having to leave the key on in order to turn the lights on.

Often, we will cruise down the river to a friend's house and just tie the boat up on the dock. I wanted to leave the Rev10 lights on but I just felt like it was silly to leave the key on for a couple hours.

This wireless Keyfob is basically just a 4 output relay. You connect it to constant power and ground on the input side and then connect the lights (or any other small accessory) to the power and ground on the output side. It's pretty cool, really cheap and simple to do.

this is the same concept that chpthrl is having me do with the relays on the ballast upgrade except this has a standalone box that has all the relays built in as opposed to wiring each one separate.

Yes, you can safely wire some LEDs to the Medallion/TT system. Ive done this on a couple of Tiges, Malibus and MC. You should have a touch button on the screen labeled for lights or ACC that controls an option not installed on your boat. Now find the fused output on the board and wire your LEDs to it with an appropriate fuse. I do not like placing the LEDs on the same circuit as the courtesy lights, unless we are converting them to the same color as the LEDs. Other wise, we put the LEDs on their own circuit.

Here are a couple other practices we apply to our LED installs. If its above the deck, like tower speaker rings, it has a dedicated switch. If its underwater LEDs, they get a dedicated switch. This allows the operator to turn on and off the different zones as needed. On some lakes, underwater LEDs can be a violation, especially while on plane because they are visible. The only lights that are supposed to be visible outside the boat is the 360 white and the bow green/red. Tower speaker rings or tower spot lights can be considered a violation and may draw unwanted attention. So with each zone having its own switch, the operator can turn them on or off as needed, with out killing all the LEDs.

Now, the down side to wiring to the TT is that you have to key up in order to turn your LEDs on or off. With a discretely placed toggle switch or a remote like Houston used, you can turn the LEDs on and off as needed.

I wired the LED's for my wet sounds speakers to the underwater lights...

I did this because the interior LED's on the boat are white and they bring a lot of bugs at night, I didnt want to have them on at the same time I wanted my speaker and under water lights on as they are blue and red and do not bring as many bugs.

I agree with CHP about wiring in zones due to being pulled over once for "too many lights on". I did what Houston did and ran a 4 zone key fob controller. I have the Rev 10's and all the exterior vent openings light up on one zone, all the in-boat speakers and subs on the second zone, seat side pockets and cup holders on the third and still have a 4th for anything extra I might want to add in the future. This way I can stay legal when I need to or light it up while sitting or tied up at the marina. It's also cool that you can control the lights from your seat at the marina restaurant if you want to mess with people. I have had more than a few people looking around to see who is turning things on and off.

Those led lights are good looking and effective so go for them
