Just downloaded it. I'll report back IF I can get it to work. There are updates as you might imagine.

Got it working, FINALLY. It wasn't showing that my remote needed an update, but I tried it anyway since I couldn't get it to work. That did nothing. Then I watched the video again & made double sure I did everything there. Still didn't work. Then I went into the settings & found the phone/tablet option. Now it works. Does everyone else have about a 3 second delay from their camera to their phone/tablet?

From goprofantics.com website (lots of threads on app topic with lots of ticked folks btw).......
-------------------------------------------------
You guys are a tough crowd. I work in the broadcast world and with even the most advanced wireless video systems encoding/decoding delays are a fact of the technology. Most wireless systems in the broadcast industry - with all of the super fast equipment in the chain at best will have a 1-2 second delay. Microwave/ CODFM systems used widely can be 2-3 seconds lag.
A 5 second lag from camera wifi to Iphone App seems to many to be high, but when you consider that the systems I mentioned above costs tens of thousands of dollars and they can't achieve instant encoding/decoding, the performance of the App is actually quite remarkable.
I am sure that these encoding/decoding speeds will, as updates become available, bring the time down to a 3-4 second delay but please remember this little device is fighting way above its weight class.
Keep those cameras safely rolling and I look forward to playing with this new app.
