    Shold I buy a RZR

I have been looking at boats. Before you Tige fans Jump off the deep end of the ship. RZ2 is out of price range. What is anyones input on the RZR and what is a good price to be paying for a New 2012 or 2013 with no hours. Dont want to walk away from dealership feeling like I just had it handed to me. This would be my first boat so I dont feel to confident in the price i have been given.

Why not, is it higher then Tiges MSRP? There are WAY too many variables to the price to compare one buyers deal to what another buyer is looking to get.

The general boat market in your area
the proximity of other tow boat brands
are you buying off the lot or spec'ing out one for order
        time of year.
options like vinyl and gel, stereo, ballast, cup-holders and other stainless accessories.
        Trailer brand and option level
current relationship with dealer (how many boats have you purchased in the past from them)

Pick out the best boat and the options that fits your needs and work a deal based on the dealers opening offers. I think you would get further by using offers from other dealers with comparative models. This way, the dealer can competitive with his actual competition, rather then another Tige dealer across the country who struck a deal using unknown circumstances.

        Good luck.

Give us some more details. Options, location, rough outline of pricing and we can give you a much better idea if it is a good deal or not. The RZR is a fantastic boat. If it fits your needs, budget and with the options you want the answer is yes you should buy it.

Another thing to consider is Tige just redesigned the Z1 to be a mini Z3 and for the past 2 seasons Z1's have been cheaper than the RZR. I am not confident that trend will continue but you might be able to get into a Z1 which will be a bigger boat with a brand new redesign for a similar price to an RZR.

The one I am looking at is a 2013 this is the specs they have. Alpha Z tower w/ racks, custom cover, 1600lb ballast system, wet sounds audio and many more options. I have been on a RZ2 and a 22 VE, and my family is a Nautique group. Which is fine but I like to wake board and surf mainly surf. I like the way the tiges have riden and the wakes they have but I have only been on the 2 tige's.

                  Swivel or fixed racks?
1600 ballast is the Surf option which includes a pair of 350# sac on top of the 250# in-floor tanks
The stereo has 3 levels: Base is 4 in-boats off head-unit, Premium is 6 in-boats and 10" sub and I think transom remote gets added in here also and Tower O Power is 1 to 2 pairs of tower speakers.

The Tige EIDB Dual Battery system is an option and used to be automatic when an option like ballast or heater, etc where added.

The 22Ve and RZ2 are 2 of the best surf boats out there, but ive seen some awesome wakes with the RZR and R20 when fitted with our custom sacs. Ive also seen some nice wakeboard wakes.

If you like to surf, look no further. There's not a better 20' boat that I've seen with the stock, surf ballast. With Mike's ballast upgrades, it only gets better.

This is with the stock, surf ballast and 3 adults in the boat. For reference, I'm 6'3".

I am out of the south east. Yes it has swivel racks tower of power stereo only 2 speakers with a 10 inch sub. It just has the basic double axle trailer the standard tige trailer not the upgraded wheels. It is at a tige dealer that has only been open for a year. I know this is a stupid question, but when I look at the website for msrp it has 2 prices a msrp and a invoice which one should I go off?

I was an hour away from ordering a 2013 RZR with Heater, Surf Ballast, Bimini, Underwater lights and more.

I went to the dealership to drop off a "order the boat" check... they closed at 3, I got there at 4.

The RZR is very nice but I run a wakeboard / surf program and I got to thinking that the boat might be a little too narrow for our large groups. The Z1 redesign is the direction I'm looking at right now, at least in the Tige' line. Supposedly it makes a very nice, clean wave. Tige's do make a very good surf wave... just gotta find the right size for you.

I'm still shopping for boats but Tige' is still one of the top 3 on the list.

We just got a 2012 for 25,000 off the msrp with surf pkg tower of power w/wet 10 the new clamp racks for 2013, etc etc. They want to order the 2013's so if you can find a 2012 you can gert a good deal. Try all boat shows if any in your area always good deals at boats shows. The invoice price is what they paid for it the msrp is the manufacturersuggested retail price. There is about 20% mark up in the area I am in. I also bought in Orlando which is where nautique headquarters are so tige is trying to break into market.
