If you put lot of wait on one side of thpe back of the boat will it throw a good surf wake?

It will throw a good wake not a great wake. I just beginning on surfing, typically a wakeboarder, I've been putting 200# under back seat, then 700# on the surf side along with 2-3 200# guys plus a 200# driver. I put about 200 in the bow. You have to have enough weight to get the rub rail at the waterline or even just a little below it. TAPs and speed can make a big difference in the wake as well. The driver has to take extra care in picking up the rider or you will get some water in the boat.
