Maybe produce it and sell it? I was just surfing with my Z1 last weekend and we were having same issues with same weight setup. Then added a sac in the center walk through which "helped" calmed down the splash. What about 2 more trim tabs out back outboard to the center one, then the surf side would rise up and the high side tab would be down to create more lift and force that side of the boat up? Any thoughts?

Dave, IMHO I don't thing the additional tabs would help. Reason: after watching quite a bit of video from my boat and a lot of time behind it the splash really seems to be coming from the convergance of the water after the boat passes through. I also think this has something to do with the fact that the narrower beam boats (Z1, R20/RZR) have a worse problem with splash. However, I'm just a redneck with a welder so don't take my word for it go out and give it a shot
looks like the second pic has a huge double-lip going right through the middle of the wave.
What is the mudflap I've heard about? What is it supposed to do?
Yeah thats what I am seeing. Double lip.
The mudflap was "invented" by Duffy. He took a nudflap fastend it to his platform bracket and it knocks down the spray and helps smoothe the wave.
Finally getting around to posting a few pics of the finished product with the powdercoat. The powdercoater did an awesome job and really gave it that finished look.
