Mirror and Rod Fell Off

Mirror and Rod fell out of the billet mount on the road somewhere between Seattle and Banks Lake. Cant seem to find the exact replacement parts, or the whole unit for that matter (checked with dealer). Any ideas? Yeah - went to Wiley's to buy a replacement CIPA mirror that mounts direct to the windshield - getting me by for now. My goal would be to get back to factory delivery config if possible. Thanks.

I wanna say, IIRC, the OEM was made by XTP http://www.xtremetowers.com/ecom/ind...n=details&id=8. but it looks XTP has partnered with Monster as their retail distributor. The current Monster offering doesnt quite look like the same 2 piece OEM unit.

My '07 looks a little different and as Chp mentioned it is by XTP.

I would look at one of the Samson. They are a nice mirror. Or the new PTEdge (sp?)

Here is my PTM edge mirror I added this year. I truly is the best mirror I have seen. If you find a new post and want my factory mirror you are welcome to it.

Does anyone know the diameter of the rod and thread type? I may have just the rod portion. I also have a nice CIPA window mirror mount if anyone wants it. And I have a mirror or two as well.

I dont know the diameter. But its not threaded. Its just a straight bar and there is a set screw. I bought mine used off this site. I can measure it tomorrow. I thought the regular mirror fit it but I will have to check that too.

I'm thinking you will find it's 5/8" dia.....

And yes - not threaded. Comes with set screw, which for mine, is still intact! Set screw must have loosened up some.

That was the factory mount that came with the boat.
