I have an 07 20v and the alarm went off yesterday. The boat lost power and went down to idle on it's own. Shut it off and started it up and took boat to dock. I have been told that if you run boat to operating temp and cool down 3 times that the engine will reset itself. Anyone ever run into this issue or hear about the fix I just mentioned. Thanks

I chased a ghost like that for a year on my 07 24ve. I have no idea what caused the problem, and am not sure which item below fixed it, but it stopped and hasn't come back for 18 months.
One of the 3 following things 'fixed' the problem:
-I had it hooked it to the computer at a dealer to read what code it threw, the tech didn't find codes, but after that I never had the problem again.
-OR, they found one wire unhooked from the battery, they reconnected it-never happened again....
-Or it was the house battery was low and somehow it tripped the alarm. Check all 3
