I was looking for one almost 2 years ago, and I never found one I liked that was aggressively priced.

I think that was just as the recession took hold, so there probably are not a lot of them out there.

There is one...I remember seeing it recently too, a black and red one from mississippi...what was his name?

        Found it...

RickD: Didn't ever respond that he sold it...would be worth sending a private message to.

          typo.....RZ2 is the one.

Found an '07 that is very well priced and low hours but needs some work,,,I think i can get it there with the following additions & suggestions from my local Tige dealer

          1. New ballast system (2 enzo bags in the rear lockers @ 1100 ea. and a 400 lb in the front)
          2. Blade Wakeboard Tower by Samson ( thinking about it)
          3. '09 Graphics (Tige dealer says he can do this for $1k)
          4. New swim deck (Tige dealer says I need this to optimize wake shape etc)

Any thoughts from the Tige experts out there...greatly appreciated!

          thx

I was thinking of updating my '08 graphics, but Harvey at Tige told me they would have to buff out where the old stickers were pretty hard, so I figured the old arrow look would stay on mine.

I came across this one but it's in Canada. Price seems high too. No relation to the listing

Your looking at close to $10K or more in getting it there. I don't think that is necessary and if you did it yourself you would save a bunch. Why a new tower?

With all that you have said Iwndr what real issues the boat might have that is going to cost more. I guess if your getting the boat dirt cheap it might be worth it. I would also be concerned about a low hour boat that needs some work.

I bought a 2007 and did most of the mods you are talking about. I'd keep the tower. The older towers are much taller and versatile. I put a teak platform on mine (450 cut to shape and shipped). I put a ballast system in it (a bunch of cash and a ton of time, but it was worth it). New prop, but you'd probably do that with a 2009 anyway. I also did new graphics, but mine cost a little more than 600. I think it was an hour of labor on top of the decal cost. The boat could have been cleaned better, but nothing a little buffing compound couldn't have solved before I took it in. My ballast system is really nice, as much weight as possible in the rear (I did a bunch of mods to the panels and moved the batteries behind the motor... I'm getting ready to do a write up). If you are willing to tackle a few items on your own, I'd go for it. Having got mine for a really good deal, I'm into my boat less than what most are advertising them for these days.

                    Thx for the feedback

I can probably skip the Tower upgrade...little pricey I just dig the way it looks!

Can't do any of the work myself..sad to admit it but changing a light bulb is challeging for me!

Is the ballast setup I proposed seem like the right way to go? Also can anyine give me some guidnace on the pumops..I don't want to rely completely on the dealer.

With the custom ballast addition , new decals & new swim platform
I can get inbto this boat for about $45k all in (taxes incl). Seems fair in compraison to what I'm seeing out there on the market...

My 2009 RZ2 has updated graphics, the new smaller swim platform and a big ballast upgrade and the new AlphaZ tower with swivel wakeboard racks, extended bimini and surf pockets sewn in. I've also had some work done to beef up the trailer and some other odds and ends. I'm not looking to sell so take that for what it's worth but I couldn't let her go for less than 62. 45 sounds like a great deal to get all that in an 08 or 07.
