    Winterized --Upgrades soon to start

We had a great first year with our 2150, even with me ending the summer with a broken arm. Finished winterizing and drying it out. Guy I bought it from gave me 2 covers, a summer and winter cover. I must say Im impressed with the winter cover especially one that is over 10 years old. Course my boats always live under a lean too on my shop so I could have just used the summer cover.

Come about January the upgrades start:

Tower - leaning towards an H2O tower from Big Air
New bimini (if the old one wont fit, which I doubt it will)
    Dual batteries with ACR
    Amp - Kicker ZXM 450.2
    Tower Speakers KMT-60
Then if there is time and more money I'll swap out the current 6-1/2" speakers.

I'm thinking of changing towers as well. Any reason why you are leaning towards the H20? I thought I had made my mind up on an MT2...but not sure anymore...

Ive seen similar models like mine with the H2O on it and I like how they look. Plus I want a tower that will lay down easy so I could clear my garage door. My friend knows the guy that makes the H2O and has pulled behind them. Said they are a solid tower. The price of the H2O is also a factor vs Samson towers and some of the other brands. On a 97 its hard to spend $3-4K on a tower. But $885 is very doable. I know for sure my bimini top wouldnt fit with MT2.

Yeah I agree. I will definately look into the H20. I would like to find a tower that I could keep the bimini I already have...but that seems to be an open ended issue with no straight answer.

Thats a tough one on the fit. You can measure your current bimini and call Big Air. They can give you an idea if it would fit or not. My problem is the current one is too wide for most tower. The height is easy to modify.

My 1st stereo upgrade was kmt6s on a zx 450.2. Needless to say it got redone a couple months after that. You can't hear them at the end of the rope but they sounded ok for the price. I have that kicker amp, used for 2 months max just sitting in the garage if your interested, pm me.

Big air towers are a Christian family owned company in Oklahoma. Great people. The receptionist gave me a huge discount on my tower and racks last winter because there was a scratch on one bar that I never even found. Than on my boat I have now, I got another big discount on the racks since it was my 2nd purchase without even asking. Great people .02

I know the KTM60s are no wet sounds but for the $ they are a good starting point. Im use to a single set of old bazooka tower speakers so these should sound better and project more. Granted no WetSounds but they are out of my $ range right now.
