Wet Sounds New Z3 demo boat

It has begun. We are building our new demo boat. Z3 this time. This will be our third Tige demo boat. RZ4, RZ2 and now Z3.

As always we are going to push the envelope on design. Cant wait to share the finished project.

Follow the thread and I will post some build pics as we go.

I want to give a big thanks to the guys at Tige! They have been awesome letting us do some crazy custom stuff.

And for the first time i know of anywhere, build a boat around a sub box! They have done a lot of work to get this crazy idea done. We designed an enclosure for 4-XS-XXX V2 subwoofers. The design uses the hull of the boat as part of the enclosure. We glassed in panels into the sides of the hulls and the top and back of the enclosure. So all 4 woofers fire out of the same plane. The side firing ports fire into a sort of "wave guide" glassed into the hull so everything loads out of the front. The enclosure is made of 3/4 inch marine grade birch that has been coated and then sprayed with resin before being glassed into the hull. The front face is double wall as is the top and back.

Each XXX V2 will have a new Sinister SD2 for 1250x1 per woofer. So 5000 watts just on the subs.

As for the rest of the system and build. Stay tuned.

Very cool! I'm going to be at the factory on the 10th. Do you know when it's supposed to ship out? I'd love to check it out while it's still at the factory

it will still be there for sure. still waiting on some parts and the trailer and wrap install etc...so it will be a process trying to get it all done. Hopefully you will get to see it somewhat done. won't give you the whole effect until the wrap and trailer are on it. once you see the "theme" you will understand.

I think Tige is keeping the Wet Sounds demo boats now, starting with the RZ2.

wonder if that has anything to do with the same reason the auto manuf. don't release one-off's anymore. too much liability.. too bad. that looks like it's going to be a SWEET boat..

I don't know...you may need more bass! That is going to be a sweet boat. How many batteries is it going to take to power it?

No reason for ballast in the bow with all the subs...
