My squeaky floor fix

I have been doing some work on the boat before putting it away for the winter and remembered some people on the forum complaining about the squeaky floor issue on the newer Tiges. Thought I would share what I did to cure this noise on my Boat. I ran a piece of sticky foam backed tape the length of the hatch on both sides. Worked great and is now quiet.

I have found it at both home depot and lowes .

Does it impede the closing of the hatch? IE is the hatch still flush wih the floor?

Not at all, If anything the fit is better.
