I am at a total loss... I have a 20V and borrowed 2 of my friends 750lb fat sacs and today tried different speeds with different TAPS settings with different amounts of weight in the sacs... Can anyone give me some suggestions of weight, speed and TAPS setting to possible get close to being able to let go of the rope. I never seem to get that feeling that I can drop the rope and when I do I slowly move back and slowly slide into the water ! ! Any advice would be appreciated.

We would run close to 900 lbs in back compartment and about 350 up front. Taps around 6-7, speed at 10 mph on our 07--20v. We would get a great wake. I was able to let go of the rope after a few tries but it took my wife alot longer to find and stay in the sweet spot. It did not have anything to do with our wave in her case. Our wave could also be affected where people were sitting of course. The above mentioned settings would give a great wake if it was just the wife and I surfing also. Hope that helps a bit as we fiddled with it to get it where we wanted.

I've got an 08 20V. Depending on your experience level - you may just be working through a bit of a learning curve. I only have 2x450lb sacs, and we can definitely ride it. I put one in the rear left compartment and one along the left bench seat. I also make sure everyone except the driver is on the left side of the boat. We keep the TAPS around 6 and speed between 10.4-10.8 (faster if more people). Good luck!
