    2013 RZR

Hi I noticed on the tige website that the 2013 RZR has a sea deck type product on the back and rear walk thru instead of the just the gripped fiberglass.

Does anyone know if this will be available aftermarket as I would like to install it on a 2012 model

I called Tige directly about it a few weeks ago and they said yes and that I would have to work through my dealer.

I gave the dealer a call and they are going to get me a cost as soon as they actually have the part numbers in their system. I would give you part numbers that I received from Tige but the dealer took them from me. I'll report back once I hear from them.

Tige also told me that I'd need to sand down the gripped fiberglass in order for it to stick properly. I know several people have installed Sea-Dek over this area so I'd be curious to know how it's holding up and if they'd recommend sanding it down...

SeaDek wont do it.. its a Dealer OEM part they make if for them but cannot sell it. Tried that route.

just ordered a week ago the same for my 2011 RZ4. but had to order via my dealer.

I have light grey on my boat right now on those areas with the backing that comes from seadek fyi, no need to sand that down. has worked just great.. just decided I wanted the factor look and so I ordered the OEM part.

I ordered the front pads, walk thru pieces (3) of them and the back hatch pads.. was just over 315.00 for all that was missing off a 2011 to 2012.

my dealer did not give me much of a break. that much I know.

think just the walk thru ran around 124 for the big piece and 20 each for the smaller two.

I ordered some stuff through Seadek once. I wondered if you were a little unclear about where you were putting it, if they would cut a piece for you. Or you could cut it yourself if you are good with a pair of scissors.

Would they really notice if you said you needed a piece of Seadek that is X inches by Y inches to put on your 1975 Bayliner?

In truth, that is about what SeaDek would charge for custom cut pieces from a template.

My do it yourself project is holding up just fine on my 2012 RZR. I would make sure your strip off old wax before peeling back the adhesive backing.

This was actually a mid year 2012 running change that Tige did. My 2012 RZ2 has the sea deck as described.

Hmmm. I wonder if I asked nicely if they would send it to me. I'm guessing I was in the early part of the 2012 models. Actually, my boat was built in early March which should be about halfway through the production year.
